OK! It’s out! The ‘Unapologetic’ album is out!

Released on November 19th, Rih has kept a secure secret from her eager fans- she didn’t tell us that the album was going to be THAT awesome!

The album not only opens up about her domestic violence experience and love affair with Mr Brown, but features a song from each genre! Now, we all know that Rih is famous for her lame albums. NOT BEING FUNNY but usually Rih releases some wicked singles and then the album is just full of fillers, but not this time! The whole album = WINNER. Absolute ace! I can predict now that ‘Love Without Tragedy/Mother Mary’ will be faaantastic live!

Rihanna has managed to conquer the world and blow the competing artists (Nicki Minaj’s album Roman Reloaded: The REUP’ was released on the same date) out of the picture by using a secret weapon, the 777 tour, which was a HUUUGE success-globally. The Unapologetic album is set to be number 1 on the UK albums chart. Score!

The album includes the hit track ‘Diamonds’ (the video arguably includes Browns arm…) and features by Chris Brown himself ‘Nobody’s Business’, eminem AND future ‘Loveeee Song’. So if you haven’t bought, downloaded or even heard of the album yet… go get it.

Rih meets River

We all know Rih has style, but does she have what it takes to design a collection for the UK’s top high end highstreet store? Well apparently so. Rihanna has recently been designing a new collection for River Island hitting stores in 2013!

I have an obsession with both River Island and Rihanna, so its a win win for me. I wonder what she’ll come up with.

Rihanna’s been quite busy in the world of fashion lately, not only is she designing her own collection BUT she is also co producing and starring in a new Sky Living television program called “Styled to Rock”. The show is simply based around finding a new hot designer to design clothes for Rihanna’s biggest gig in the UK yet! Excited much?!

Chris Brown Vs. Drake, again.

Drake and Chris Brown had a big brawl in a night club a little while ago, but beef still continues between the two stars. Not only have they been offered $1 million each to re enter the ring- but Nicki Minaj made numerous comments on the situation, stating that Drake is better than that and just needs to realise how big of a star he is; she even recommended him to “take a nap”, but she still continued to release a single with Chris..hmn. Any who, not only did the club that housed the brawl loose its liqueur license, but multiple people ended up in hospital because of the fight, not only did Chris need stitches, but members of Drakes team ended up seriously hurt, especially his body guard. The mess was horrendous, check out the aftermath:

Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend Festival

Now, RUNTC readers, although I have been gone for a while, I have done some pretty cool things meanwhile and the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend was definitely one of them!

I was lucky enough to receive an exclusive pass to the big festival and I had an absolute blast! Not only was there food, celebrities and fun, but there were all my favourite artists in one place! The event was so massive that there was more than one stage. Amongst the thousands of people that attended, there was a dance section, multiple DJ stands, a Radio 1 EXTRA stage AND finally, the biggen- the main stage- which was absolutely MASSIVE.

Not only did I have the pleasure of witnessing the greatness that is Example, Trey Songz and Will.I.Am; I was fortunate enough to discover the great performance that was Nicki Minaj.

Minus her diva exit. Her performance was perfectly balanced with her infamous pop ballads and her skilled rhymes. Unfortunately, due to sound errors, I was screaming the words louder than Nicki herself, never the less, it was a good performance. Especially the male dancers.

Now, Jay Z’s performance is a whole different story. Although the legend made us wait, a long time, all the crampt conditions and crowd thug behavior was worth it. After being squashed for 30 minutes in the typical British rain, the crowd was rich with excitement when he finally arrived. Performing an extreme performance of majority of his previous smashers – Not only did Rihanna join him on stage for ‘Run This Town’ but M.I.A came on stage with an awesome performance of her track ‘Bad Girls’ and ‘Paper Planes’ (which was cut short due to technical failures). Just as the crowd thought he was done, close friend, Kanye West pops out of no where to give us a cut down version of the Watch The Throne tour. Performing ‘Niggas In Paris’ not once, not twice but 3 times!

All together, the Hackney Weekend was a fudging fudge fantastic way to spend a Saturday Afternoon!

So, Rihanna was seen at the Coachella Festival in California putting some form of “white substance” on her bodyguards head. Some say its weed, white weed.. and some think its cocaine. Rihanna, on the other hand, being the sophisticated individual she is- replied:

I’m a creep for some CREEPERS

I am a SUCKER for Creepers. I love them so much; but a breeze of fear passed through me when I saw that my local high street were selling them- both nockoff’s and real. I was a little bit happy, but mostly discouraged as I realised that such a old skool, punky and interesting style would be totally available to the general public. Which will, eventually, lead to the Creeper name being “CHAVinised”. I created a new world for fashion trends that have been ruined by the wrong hands. CHAVinised.

But, I must admit that before Rihanna and Rita Ora started wearing them about the town, the Creeper name remained an underground specific.

But hey, I love when creative trends get about. I just don’t think the hipsters will be pleased with their beloved shoe has become MAINSTREAM :o *cries*
