We all know Rih has style, but does she have what it takes to design a collection for the UK’s top high end highstreet store? Well apparently so. Rihanna has recently been designing a new collection for River Island hitting stores in 2013!

I have an obsession with both River Island and Rihanna, so its a win win for me. I wonder what she’ll come up with.

Rihanna’s been quite busy in the world of fashion lately, not only is she designing her own collection BUT she is also co producing and starring in a new Sky Living television program called “Styled to Rock”. The show is simply based around finding a new hot designer to design clothes for Rihanna’s biggest gig in the UK yet! Excited much?!

Be sure to tune in on Sky Living and support the navy base

I am a SUCKER for Creepers. I love them so much; but a breeze of fear passed through me when I saw that my local high street were selling them- both nockoff’s and real. I was a little bit happy, but mostly discouraged as I realised that such a old skool, punky and interesting style would be totally available to the general public. Which will, eventually, lead to the Creeper name being “CHAVinised”. I created a new world for fashion trends that have been ruined by the wrong hands. CHAVinised.

But, I must admit that before Rihanna and Rita Ora started wearing them about the town, the Creeper name remained an underground specific.

But hey, I love when creative trends get about. I just don’t think the hipsters will be pleased with their beloved shoe has become MAINSTREAM :o *cries*

I don’t think Rihanna really cares about people thinking she wears wigs, since she just went from pure blonde, full fringe to a jet black, LONGER style with a stylish, subtle undercut.

The undercut trend has come and gone with the likes of Ellie Goulding – but will she bring it back?

I’m really not too sure about this hair style. I mean rih has been known for having quite extreme hair cuts.. but is this one aiming a bit too high? I’m not sure… I’ll post some pics, see what you think:

I’m not sure…

Kanye is an officially certified designer as he strutted his stuff on Paris fashion week 2011. He created a new line named ‘DW’ that blew the audiences minds and totally redefined the stereotypical demographic for ‘celebrity designers’. Well done Yee :)

I MISS GWEN, SHE NEEDS TO COME BACK AND OWN 2011! What do you guys think?!

She was so original and carefree. I just love the way she worked with so many different people and created so many different sounds. She is a fashion ICON and created new dances in each of her video’s. Her voice is un like anyone else’s. I really do think that 2011 needs some originality, I mean Beyonce, Rihanna and Nicki are holding it down at the moment, but maybe for a bit too long! Gwen needs to come back and do some collaborations with Nicki, think how incredible that would be?!

OK, so the UK is getting pretty hot pretty fast and I am really excited!!! Summer and Winter are the best seasons for clothes! But I always seem to spend more in summer than winter. Summer is all about showing off your curves and feeling comfortable and healthy, winter, on the other hand, is more about hibernating and preparing for the next summer. Summer always seems to burn a hole in my pocket but it is one of the few times where I actually don’t care lol! So, I thought I’d give you guys an inside scoop on what I’m wearing this summer, and because you know I only wear the dopest of dope, I know ya’ll gone loove it :P And the best part is… THEY ARE ALL HIGH STREET. – all images below provided by ASOS.COM

Right, so that about sums it. If you actually payed attention all the way to the end, THANKYOU, if you didnt. SCREW YOU, IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO DO THIS! :-) x Happy easter

Spike Lee (1990’s)                                                                                       Chris Brown (2011, Look at me now)

Jimi Hendrix (1970)                                                                              Wiz Khalifa (2011)

Can you all see the comparison?  I’ve been meaning to blog about this for a long time now. Not in a negative way before all ya’ll haters start using your keyboards of doom- but in a positive way.

Obviously, we are all inspired by the greats, whether it be through fashion (Spike Lee & Chris Brown) or way of life (Wiz Khalifa and Jimi Hendrix), but I find it super fascinating when I actually get the pleasure of seeing history repeat itself.

Now you all know, I’ve been waiting for ever for the 90’s era to repeat itself (its the only time where I feel like I belong…) but with the 90’s repeating itself (via fashion, music samples and dance moves), I have noticed slight elements of the 70’s; by this I mean, every other song is either talking about drugs, includes the sound of taking drugs (lighters, sparkers, puffs) or the music videos are surrounded by people actually physically smoking the drugs. This all started back in the 70’s when heroes like Jimi Hendrix were about and bigger than ever! Jimi was almost always seen with some form of cigarette or joint in his hand or mouth, we all know that this was deemed normal in the 70’s as people didn’t really understand the long-term affects of drugs. But now, I see artists like Wiz Khalifa (who is pretty much a spitting image of Jimi) and Kid Ink (oh how I love him..) pretty much repeating history by including smoking scenes in almost ALL of their video’s. I am not worried about this at all because we have enough background information on drugs now to be able to laugh at anyone who takes them. Although it may seem like I’m nagging, I’m actually pretty amazed! This is really cool, not the smoking part, but the part about history repeating itself!

Now the 90’s was bound to return sometime! I’ve noticed that a lot more dance scenes have been included in music videos, its not just video vixens and showing off. Now theres actually dance moves to learn, like the LMFAO Shuffle or The Cat Daddy and the Dougie. This is exciting because maybe these dance moves might help kids get off the streets. Its worked in America! More kids are becoming involved with the brand new trend dance moves than crime. It doesn’t just benefit the community in the long run, but it benefits our childhood – we are growing up in a world that is twice our age and we are experiencing things that teenagers really shouldn’t have a clue about. These dance crazes might bring back our innocence slightly or make a slight change!

I really have a good feeling about the next few years, I can feel a BIG change coming!
